The drop-forged snip heads are always hardened and tempered and the cutting edges are also induction-hardened. This ensures a long service life and burr-free cuts. The ergonomic handle has a plastic coating and anti-slip protection as standard. Both parts are articulated to provide additional leverage. Cutting work can be carried out with very little effort and little fatigue. But that’s not all. The latest generation of lever-operated snips, the Shape and straight cutting snips D39ASS, have even more to offer – improved ergonomics and durability. To achieve this, the handle opening has been reduced with virtually no loss of cutting length, the locking bolt is positioned centrally, the snip head has a more compact design and a sintered steel insert has been integrated to prevent friction in the trade.
